From the Shoedazzle website (where I ordered this shoe): Keiko is the answer to all of our navy blues in rich crinkle faux patent leather. The high-cut upper is appropriate for the office while the butterfly cut-outs and peep toe make Keiko right for cocktail hour, as well. She is the perfect cross between fierce and feminine with pretty details atop a sleek stiletto and platform. Keiko is a no-brainer with a navy suit, but be daring in an outfit with varying tones of blue and teal for a rich ensemble that shows off the confidence of a peacock's plumes. After work, easy does it with a pair of dark jeans for a leggy look or with colorful tights and a bohemian floral dress for off-beat chic.

I loved these pumps...1. because they are navy and I have never been able to find a cute pump in this color yet...2. because they have cute, little, intricate cutouts on the top of the shoe....and 3. because they are a different look that I could wear to work or out.
I couldn't wait to get these in the mail after I selected them for my shoe of the month from shoedazzle.com (which is a great website...check out my review of it!). They finally came and I tried them right on. I was surprised by how they looked different on my feet than in the pictures of them online. More of the top of my foot and toes were exposed then I assumed would be. Through the cutouts you can see basically the whole top of the foot...which was a bit of a let down to me. I love how fashionable they are...but I would have prefered smaller cutouts. They have a pretty high heel--but that isn't the part that's uncomfortable. The upper-most part of the shoe is the problem. It comes up high--and cuts into your skin with each step. The first time I wore them I had little cuts accross my foot that took days to heal. The second time I wore them a few weeks later...the same thing--but a little worse this time. Normally after I have a pair that cuts into me I just wait it out for about 1-2 weeks and give them another try and its not so bad. Not with this pair. Too cute...but too painful.
Final thoughts: I am a person that will definitely suffer for fahion (or even just for a cute pair of shoes)...but this pair has made me store it away for the spring...and not feel bad doing so.
