Mi Mexico - New Smyrna Beach, FL Review

A trip to Southeast Voluisa County and New Smyrna Beach isn't complete without a stop at Mi Mexico.  They serve authentic mexican fare at a fair price.  The extensive menu includes beef, chicken, pork, fish and seafood items and everything is prepared to order.  The food is fresh and tasty.  My personal favorite is the Chili's pablanos.  Fresh pablano peppers stuffed with queso blanco (real mexican cheese) then battered and fried and topped with ranchero sauce.  Accompanments include tradional bean and rice.  Other favorites include Shrimp Delight and Chrizo fundidos.  The Mexican shrimp cocktail is the best you'll find north of the border.

Service is pleasant and efficient. The staff is knowledgeble regarding the menu and ingrediants.  This is a casual restaurant located just steps from the beach, so attire is casual.  If you are planning on a weekend trip go early as evening times may require a wait.  Believe me, it's worth waiting for.  They also offer alcoholic beverages!
