I have been a Metro Pcs customer for almost 7 years. I chose to make the switch when my Cingular bill regularly ended up being over $350. Metro Pcs was not stellar in the beginning, but has continuously improved their services. My main complaint in the past year would only be that they did not keep up with their growth spurt. Customer service was at an all time low and waiting to get helped over the phone would take at least 45 min. This has in the past few months greatly improved. The do need to step up their customer service. But, I figure they are doing that slower than normal. However, I do expect them to remain a tough competitor to the other big guys. THis is my second time with MetroPCS. THe only reason I left them the first time was because I moved to an area they didn't cover. Now that they're here, I'm back with them. — — There's a lot less hassle than with the conventional carriers. I was able to get a great Qwerty phone for a good price, and I pay $100/mo for two lines of unlimited everything. Just don't forget to pay on time - they mean it when they say that they will turn your phone off at midnight! The service has been excellent with very few dropped calls and have found no "dead" areas. Convenient payment options and with authorized stores everywhere it is easy to change or add equipment. With the addition of being able to roam, it has made the perfect program for me. Additionally , with no deposit and no contract it is the most flexible program available. I love metroPCS. Though the service is a little low is some areas, it is heard that metro is adding more servece towers up. I can pay my bills add or take away features if need be, and they text you the amount of money you owe a while before it is due. This is so you know what you owe, and gives you time to come up with the money. Their phones are like normal phones, actually from real companies like samsung and such. Metro PCS is a great cell phone provider. I've had them for over 2 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. One flat fee and I can talk unlimited at all times of the day. I'm a huge cell phone user, as I'm a business owner and I just like to talk! :) The only downside is the occasional call drops in different areas. For the price, I can deal with that. Metro PCS is for the DFW area in Texas. For people who do not go out of the area very often, this is a great carrier. The only thing that is not so good about it is that you dont get signal or you can drop a call more frequent than the other carriers. You pay for the phone and the usage. If you go with the best quality plan you get everything. But you do have to use their phones. Your payment is due on the same day every month. Metro PCS is almost the perfect provider. It has been my provider for 3 years. With a fixed rate, national long distance included, you can talk as much as you want to. The service would be perfect if their satellite signal were stronger. It could be that while you are talking the call drops. But it happens only in certain areas. As a person that is a very busy independent contractor and rely on making numerous calls, I love MetroPCS! Overall, Metro PCS is a good cell phone provider.
