I love Method and have many, many of their products. They consistently produce earth and people friendly products that are actually effective. These Pink Grapefruit Smarty Dish Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergent Tabs are no different. I love dishwasher tabs! They're really the best things that have ever happened to the dishwasher experience! There's no more measuring, you just pop one in and go! These are even really good with my very hard water! I always pre-rinse my dishes before they go in the dishwasher so my dishes are never ultra dirty to begin with, but these little tabs power through the parmesan cheese that gets melted on and seems to never come off with normal dishwashing detergent. All my dishes, pots, pans, and bakeware come out clean and sparkly. There is absolutely no residue. The smell is also lovely. I can never pass up a citrus scent so this was just a bonus to find a citrus scented dishwasher tab from Method.

I try to use all natural products whenever possible, and Method is one of my brands of choice for non-toxic products. I normally use the Method Pink Grapefruit Smarty Dish Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergent Tabs when running my dishwasher. Like I said, I like that these are a natural product, so I don't have to worry about chemicals getting on my dishes. These tabs work well to get my dishes clean, and I don't have to worry about stuck on foods or greasy dishes not getting clean. My dishes don't really get that cloudy look when I use this dishwasher detergent. Also, these don't have a harsh chemical smell like some other dishwasher detergents. These aren't available at most stores in my area, and I typically buy them at Target. They are a little on the expensive side, but they're worth it since they work well and I know my family is going to be safe when I use these dishwasher tabs.

I will admit I was hesitant to try this stuff based on a few negative/mixed reviews I had read. Boy am I glad I did. Originally I was using a liquid dishwasher detergent that claimed to be eco friendly, but as I researched it more, I found out it wasn't safe at all. So, I went ahead and tried the Method tabs. I use the free and clear scent and the lemon mint scent also. This stuff does a fantastic job in my dishwasher. All of my dishes come out spot free and sparkling clean. I read another review that said her plastic dishes dont look so nice after using this. I have to say, I don't have a lot of plastic dishes, but those I do have (mostly Tervis tumblers) are clean as a whistle. I also pit white vinegar in the rinse aid dispenser and that helps with water spots too (and it's cheap and chemical free). I have some black, plastic cooking utensils that do seem to have a strange, faded look to them now. I never attributed it to the Method cleaner, but who knows. All in all, this product works great, smells great and is non-toxic...super bonus!!!

So many of the phosphate-free dishwasher detergents don't do nearly as good a job on dishes as Cascade and the rest of the "bad guys." Method works great and it's safe to use. We've tried the green version of Palmolive (pretty poor job) and Seventh Generation (good, but not the best) products, and method is far and away the best. Plus, the capsules are so easy to use, and the smell is great too.

I like that it is made from naturally derived products. It is highly concentrated so uses less which saves money and resources. The dish detergent smells good, rinses clean and gets my dishes sparkling clean. We used to use Dawn but have found that Method dish works just as well.

I also love citrus scents, especially pink grapefruit, so naturally, I had to have these. What I like about **Method Pink Grapefruit Smarty Dish Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergent Tabs**: - They are made with eco-friendly, biodegradable ingredients - Bleach-free and Phosphate-free - Come in an easy-to-use, mess-free tablet When you smell inside the bag, you can smell the yummy pink grapefruit, but unfortunately, that's as far as the scent goes. I can't smell it when the dishes are washing, and there's no hint of a scent afterwards either, so I'm not really sure why these tabs are scented. I love how convenient these tabs are; I just throw one of these in my dishwasher and my dishes come out clean...usually. My utensils, pots, pans and glasses come out sparkling clean, but sometimes the grime left in a dirty dish comes out with white residue on it. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen. Overall, I really like **Method Pink Grapefruit Smarty Dish Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergent Tabs. **They're eco-friendly and clean the dishes well. Both the Pink Grapefruit and plain versions of the Method Smarty Non-Toxic Dishwasher Tabs leave a strange chalky residue on all my dishes at the end of the cycle. I have been through one package of each and the result is the same. All of my stainless steel utensils have a tarnished appearance and my plates and bowls have a white, chalky coating when the cycle is done. I hope the manufacturers will correct this as I am a big fan of evironmentally-friendly products. For now, I am going to try to find another solution.

This Method Pink Grapefruit Smarty Dish Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergent has NOT been my favorite.  It works okay but not the best.  I will say it does get my dishes clean but often leaves some little pieces of food or gunk in the tops of the top rack dishes.  I have no clue if its the detergent or the dishwasher but from my experience other detergents don't do this.  I do enjoy the types of cleaning products that come in "packs" since it's so convient.  I mean hey less measuring and wasting right!?  So in that regard they seem great - nice little oval nuggest of cleanliness.  And I would say they work great about half of the time.  Which isn't great.  Often I'll have some dishes that need to be hand washed afterwards or put back in for another cycle - total waste of water and resources!  When using these method cleaning pods you may have to do a little more pre rinsing than others.  I would give this product a B-.

I prefer the convenience of dishwasher detergent that comes in tab form so you can easily drop in the right amount, but once I had a baby eating off my dishes I was looking to find a green-er version. I tried a couple other brands of "green" and not-so-green detergent and was really unhappy with how they all performed. Food was constantly stuck onto the dishes, and often the dishwasher would just smell weird after a cycle. Finally I tried the Method brand and they worked as well as the chemical-laden brand I was buying previously. No dishwashing detergent is perfect, but the Method got the dishes cleaner than most other brands. I do some pre-rinsing, but I'm not obsessive about it. The dishes almost always come out perfect! I do wish it was a little easier to find this detergent at more stores--in my area the only store I can find that routinely has it is Target. But given the performance I am happy to keep making a special trip.

If you are looking to replace those dangerous, phosphate filled, commercially used dishwasher detergents you have been using, look no further than Method's Smarty Dish Pink Grapefruit Dishwasher Pacs! The Smarty Dish pacs are no exception - your dishes will come out looking great, and you will not be exposing your family to any of the nasty chemicals that are in standard dishwasher detergents.  All in all, the Method Smarty Dish pacs are a great choice for you and your dishes!
