Metamucil Pink Lemonade Fiber Laxative Supplement Review

My system is a big sluggish so I am always looking for ways to add some extra fiber in to my diet.  So I was thrilled to get a free sample for Metamucil Pink Lemonade Fiber Laxative/Supplement. 

 Metamucil Pink Lemonade Fiber Laxative/Supplement is a lemonade mix that you mix with an 8 oz glass of water. It is pretty much  lemonade with with fiber in it.  Matamucil Pink Lemonade is sugar free so it is safe for diabetics.  You can drink it up to 3 times per day.  It contains 100% Psyllium fiber.

The product promises to:  Help your natural cleansing pricess

                                         Helps lower cholesterol

                                         Promotes over all well being

                                         Provides a good source of natural fiber

Metamucil Pink Lemonade is sold in a 23.3 oz container and costs about $17.00 per container, but you get a lot of servings in that one container and it lasts a long time. 

I liked the sample enough to invest in a container of it. 

But it is not perfect.  I had assumed that it would disolve all the way and sometimes it does, but sometimes if the water is too cold it will lump up in the bottom of the cup and it is pretty gross when it does that.  I don't usually notice till I get down to the last 1/4 of the drink.  It seems to blend in and tastes pretty close to lemonade up until you get down to that point then it is too thick and not good tasting. 

It does taste like lemonade but just not quite as good, but it tastes good enough considering it is a fiber supplement. 

The product works well for me it does give me the desired affect.  It really fills me up too so if I drink it before a meal I can not eat as much which is good, and if I get a craving to eat something bad I will have a cup of this and it gives me that full feeling so that I no longer want to eat the bad thing any more.  I think this might actually help me to lose weight for these reasons. 

So while it could blend a little better and is not as good tasting as regular lemon aid it works well, and tastes good enough that I will drink it at least once a day and even more if I am having big time cravings.
