Wonderful book....wonderful movie

I somehow stumbled onto this book, found out who the author was & had to read it. I LOVED it....it's a wonderful story line of 2 lonely people trying to make their busy lives worthwhile & then find each other. One traces down the other & then finds out his secret as to his sadness. But, in bringing out what she knows, he too finds a secret that surprises him. Have the tissues ready cause the ending will surprise you. We ended up buying the DVD which follows the book very well & it's become a favorite of my husband's & mine to watch together. We even love the soundtrack to the movie.... read full review »

Theresa finds a bottle with a message in it and it changes her life~

This book has quite a few ups and downs, and keeps you engrossed in the story until the very last page. I kept wondering if Theresa would find someone to mend her broken heart and would Garrett let her in and forget his lost love. A Happy ending with a cruel twist.

Good, touching story. Downfall is that all of Nicholas Sparks' books end the same way. Someone dies...same story different character names, but same ending. Really I feel you can read the jacket cover and save some tissues. His books all make you cry. A plus though is they are all easy to read.
