I somehow stumbled onto this book, found out who the author was & had to read it.  I LOVED it....it's a wonderful story line of 2 lonely people trying to make their busy lives worthwhile & then find each other.  One traces down the other & then finds out his secret as to his sadness.  But, in bringing out what she knows, he too finds a secret that surprises him.  Have the tissues ready cause the ending will surprise you.  We ended up buying the DVD which follows the book very well & it's become a favorite of my husband's & mine to watch together.  We even love the soundtrack to the movie.
