Merz Mederma Review

I have been currently using mederma to help treat a surgical scar as well as continuing treatment for old acne scars.  The product itself was recommended to me by a doctor, and it has somewhat helped reduce the presence of scarring on my face.  The product states that you are supposed to apply it several times a day to affected areas and rub it in for the product to take effect.  I have found that after rubbing it in, residue and sometimes stickiness persist in my skin.  It does not seem to cause my skin to dry out exessively, which is a plus since my skin is very sensitive.  I would recommend using this as a spot treatment solution, as the product is somewhat expensive, and the bottle itself is not very large so if you are treating the same area over several months, it might take a few bottles.  While I am still hoping to see improvment in the reduction of my scars, I will say that the Mederma brand has got me headed in the right direction.
