Since I got my new V Star I have gathered a few products to help me take care of it and keep it looking new. One of the most prevalent aspects of my new bike is all the chrome on it, so I need something that won't get me high when I use it. When I drove a truck I used Mother's Polish on my truck and it would have me high as a kite by the time I finished polishing it, it worked great but I hated the smell of it.

Meguiar's Motorcycle All Metal Polish

This comes in a 6 ounce round plastic container and the polish itself is a semi hard paste. Like any other polish you need to apply with either a terry cloth or a foam applicator. There is no hard rubbing to do, just apply it to all your chrome and polished aluminum. It goes on slicker than a babies bottom and took me about 20 minutes to get all my chrome covered in it. Even the small nooks on the engine were easy to get covered with this.

Once I had it all covered I took a clean cloth and started wiping my motorcycle down. The shine is amazing and it was a lot easier than waxing a vehicle. It took me about 45 minutes to get all the polish off and go over it a second time with yet another clean cloth. Am I over doing it? I don't feel as if I am, I just cranked up the radio in my garage and polished away on my bike. When I was done my Baby Loved it and she shined like a brand new diamond!

Bottom Line

Easy to apply and just as easy to wipe it back off and the best part is no strong offensive odor with this Meguiar's All Metal Polish. I bought a few other Meguiar's products and the reviews will be forthcoming! Yep now that the Redneck has a new Toy you will see some more motorcycle related reviews from me....lol

It works as good as Mother's does to me and no getting high off the smell. ;)

Non-stinky sounds good to me too! Too bad I don't have a bike. Wonder if I'd be violating some moral or legal taboo if I used this stuff to polish the chrome on my Cadillac. ;-)

I always wear a helmet, boots and most time gloves along with a good jacket. Even my hard head is not that hard....lol ;)

Not to sound like a mother hen, but you be careful when you ride Lil' Blue and I hope you wear a helmet.

Thanks Anna, Lil' Blue is a beauty alright ! I posted the pics on the other review, for some reason they didn't take the first time. ;)
