Rated quite high for me. Is a anticavity fluoride toothpaste - multi-action formula. Arm & Hammer has a great product here. My teeth are sensitive and this toothpaste does not bother me when brushing with it. The taste is great and leaves a very clean feeling on my teeth. Very refreshing. Have not had any cavities in the last 5 years. My teeth and gums are in great condition according to my dentist. My husband also uses this product and loves it. He also has had great checkups with the dentist. Says he will use no other toothpaste. Sometimes it is hard to find in the store, but we stock up on it when we do purchase it. The taste, the refreshing feeling on your teeth and the fact that we do not get cavities is all we need to know to keep using this toothpaste. No other has compared so far. We occasionally try new products but always come back to Mentadent Multi-Action Formula by Arm & Hammer.

I am a fan of mentadent toothpaste. I like how the two cleaning elements of the toothpaste are kept seperatly. I feel that they give you a cleaner mouth that you can feel the differnce when you are done cleaning. The box says that you will see a whiter mouth after a week of use, I don't see that big of a differnce but I do feel fresher.

Very few toothpaste manufacturers have ventured outside the tube but one company has made a name for itself due to its innovative packaging. The company is Mentadent and its **Mentadent Toothpaste** is a brand enjoyed by many. Let's take a closer look: **Toothpaste Commentary:** Mentadent Toothpaste is a minty toothpaste product that is packaged in an upright container that dispenses with the press of a button. This packaging has become the company's trademark and it is a concept that hasn't been copied by very many other toothpaste manufacturers. The unique means for dispensing is what most people recognize when they think of Mentadent, but this toothpaste has more to offer than that. It is a fluoride- enhanced toothpaste that cleans teeth well and fights against tartar buildup. The toothpaste creates a foamy sensation in the mouth, making the experience more distinguishable from other toothpastes. Mentadent Toothpaste is a good product, but I hestitate to rate it much better than average for a couple important reasons: Dispensing and Price. I realize I just raved about the dispenser and its unique qualities, but the fact is that the dispenser doesn't hold much paste, even though it looks like it does, and it tends to waste a little by dispensing more than you need. Then, there is the price. Mentadent Toothpaste is costlier than the majority of toothpastes on the market and considering its high cost per ounce, I can think of several others that perform just as well if not better for less money. Bottom- Line Viewpoint: Toothpaste products are usually sold in a tube, but Mentadent Toothpaste is different. It is one of the few products sold in an upright container and this distinction sets it apart from other toothpastes. The dispensing system isn't the most efficient and the refills are costly, but this is still a good product based on performance and one that most will find at least acceptable.

We've been using Mentadent for at least ten years now and we love it.  I've tried lots of the different flavors, and they are all good. But when they came out with the whitening kind I started using that primarily.  It really does a good job of cleaning your teeth, freshing your breat and it really does leave your teeth whiter than any other brand of toothpaste that I've tried in the past.  I love the upright holder base that it fits into.  Much easier that fishing around for a messy tube of toothpaste and trying to squeeze the last bits from the bottom of the tube.  This is such an easy dispensor it's really convenient to use right up until the last drop.  I just buy the refills in bulk and reuse the base to save money.  I can't imagine a reason to ever switch to another brand as long as these guys keep making a quality product.  I really like the taste as well.  I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This toothpaste works okay.  Your teeth feel clean & your breath feels freshened.  The taste s no bad.  I bought 3 containers of it & used it exclusively until depleted.  My dental visit was no better or worse afterward.  I think the container is too large.  It empties out quicker than looks would lead you to believe (a lot of empty plastic parts, seems like an intentional visual deception).  I do not find it worth the extra expense.  Other less expensive brand names work just as well & since they cost less & last longer, those other brands are a much better value.

I have used Mentadent several times over the years and have always liked it quite well but as an avid couponer there are never any coupons out there for this product.I think this product taste good and really works and would use it regularly if it were as inexpensive as crest and other brands with coupons of course.I also did like the dispenser but just a little bulky though.

mentadent is great tasting, it makes your teeth feel clean and doesnt leave a nasty taste in your mouth. the dispenser is always nice because instead of using a tube and making a mess or trying to squeeze the tube to get all the toothpaste out, it does it for you.

Mentadent Toothpaste has a convenient and easy to use dispenser.  I bought it when it first was introduced on the market.  We like the taste, and think it cleans the teeth well.  The one thing that we did not like was that the children enjoyed just pumping the toothpaste out, wasting it, and leaving a mess.
