Can I really be crazy in love with a toothbrush?

Last month I made a trip to Savannah, GA after hearing about the death of my friend and dance partner. We were initially in Atlanta, came back the next day and then family and friends convinced me to go to Savannah to be with some friends that would help me deal with the initial shock of Brannigan's death. Well, since my suitcase was already packed my friends just threw it in their SUV but we failed to get my toiletry bag out of my brother's truck. So, we arrive in Savannah and upon meeting up with some close friends from Memphis I fall apart and needless to say feel the need to freshen up. But with what? That's when we realized that I didn't have my toiletry bag. No toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. So, while everyone is hanging out at the pool Meli takes me to Walmart to pick up a few things.

I bought the Mentadent White & Clean with Whitening Ribbon on a whim because it was just $1.99 and I liked the teal color. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do.

The handle is a flexi-grip that bends easily and makes it easy to circumnavigate around the tight places behind your teeth and at the far recesses of your mouth. I got a medium brush so it's a little harder than I am used to. The head has the traditional bristles with a raised end to allow you to get behind your teeth. What makes this unique is a real soft rubber-like ribbon in the center of the bristles. As you brush your teeth you can feel it going across and it massages your gums really well.

The toothbrush claims to help whiten your teeth. I'm not sure about that unless the whitening ribbon is designed to remove more plaque. I'm not complaining about the color of my teeth at this time in my life so if the toothbrush serves the main function of cleaning teeth and gums then I am happy. This one just provides a more comfortable brushing experience. I would recommend this toothbrush because it's a good quality and yet not as expensive as the Oral B ones that I have purchased in the past.
