The Memorex Mi4290PBLK Alarm Clock Radio for iPod/iPhone in black is a great product. Not only does it charge the iPod, but it has other capabilities such as an AM/FM tuner, and an auxiliary jack for MP3 players. Also, it is compatible with the iPhone. It also comes with a remote control for ease of use. The sound quality is great, and the volume levels are good. Problems with this product include a very simple remote control. It does not have as many options as the usual iHome, and includes a power button, skip forward and backward, and volume control. It would be great if it had radio presets. Also, the range and the receiver of the remote is pretty poor. You need to directly point the remote straight at the Memorex player in order for it to receive the input. Advantages include great sound quality and a sleek black look with a great digital clock display. I highly recommend the product to anyone looking for an iPod charger/player.
