My son was born early and was on a high calorie Enfamil and breast feeding combo for the first seven months of his life. The Enfamil was $13.65 a can for the 12.5 ounce cans and he got up to two and a half can a week plus babyfood! When his weight finally got to where it was supposed to be , our pediatrician ok'd him for regular formula. He recommended Enfamil and I had been very pleased with it the whole time I had been using it. However, I was picking up a case of diapers and wipes at Sam's club one day and noticed their brand of formula. It was over 3 lbs for $20.00. I looked over the comparison chart on the label and discovered it was almost identical to Enfamil. I asked the pediatrician if I could swith and he assured me it was a good formula. My son never had any problems with it sure saved us a lot of money. The only downside is that it is only sold at Sam's club. I did a little research and discovered that Wal-Mart's Parent's choice brand is the same formula, made by the same company. One is marketed for Sams and one for Wal-Mart. So, if you run out and Wal_mart is closer, you can get it there for only a little more. You can get samples if you want to try it first at walmart.com and samsclub.com.
