After stopping breastfeeding and even while weaning my now 5 year old and 10 month old I've been using the Members Mark Gentle Infant Formula Powder with Iron, DHA and ARA Lipds. It is comparable with the Enfamil Gentlease Lipil and the proof is on the cans. Both my son's seem to love the taste and the price at SAM's is easy on the wallet when compared to other stores for the name brand formula's. Three cans cost $58.14 or $19.38 per can at Sams Club.
The only downfall of this is the smell. I thought I had spoiled formula in my son's bottle until I realized that I had just made his bottle 20 minutes...
review »We had started our little girl out on Enfamil when we decided to supplement breastmilk since Enfamil is what the daycare we are taking her to provides.
She like Enfamil and had no problems with it. So, we went that route for a while, but the price and size of the Member's Mark can was just too good to not try given that nutritionally, it is the same as enfamil.
I will say that it does not look the same as Enfamil- sligtly more yellow color and a little coarser grained- but my daughter seems to like it just as well. So, I think this is going to be the formula she gets at home from now on.
My daughter was exclusively on B.M for the first three months and we started to wean her to formula. She received half B.M and half formula for until she was 5 months. She liked the taste of the member's mark formula better than the B.M.!
We are extremely happy with it and have found it mixes well with a formula pitcher. Also, the price (about $20 for 3.5 pounds) can't be beat!
I used Similac with my first child after briefly breastfeeding; and after just quitting work, money was not a huge factor. Now, a little over three years later and having been staying at home, money is a much larger factor. So I was more open to other options with my second child. A friend recommended the Sam's brand--Member's Mark--to me some time ago. According to her pediatrician, it's just like Enfamil, and she used it with her second child upon recommendation from a friend. I did a little research and it is nutritionally identical to Enfamil, and according to reviews that I found,...
review »I am mother of 12 month old baby.my daughter had infant ecazemaafter her birth docter said she is allergic to cow milk protin .After brestfeeding for nine months i switched to formula first i tried Enfamil lipil she just vomit when ever wi gave her the n i switched to similac advancedits ok with her then we thought try some thing else and we tried members mark infant formula with dha and ara and its good i am using this from last three month and completly satisfied in less money
I picked up a can of Member's Mark formula when I was pregant with my second daughter. Our plan was to breast feed, but that didn't work out. I'm so glad that I had a can of formula on stand-by. We started her on it at 4 days old and we've had very little spit up or gas issues. I'm so very pleased with this item. I always have a can on back up and would never consider subbing a name brand formula!
Members mark infant formula is a great way to save money. Great quality, healthful infant formula for a super low price. Its a no brainer. The large container means less time spent shopping and less junk in your trash can. my baby showed no signs of change of taste from more expensive brand. love it.
