When trying to decide which formula to swich my son to from breast milk at 7 month old I elicited several resources. I am a nurse and and nurse practitioner student. I wanted to make sure my son got the best! So I went to a dinner meeting the the North Texas Pediatric nurse practitioner association that had a speaker from the formula department at Children's Medical center. I expected to hear which formula was "the Best". What I learned was that for a healthy, full term infant of course Breast is best, but pretty much all of the infant formulas are equally as good. Because of the Infant formula... review »

With my first child I felt as though I had to give him the very best.... and I thought that meant buying the most expensive name brand product.  However, with my second child I did a little more research and found out some surprising things.  If you compare the ingredients of Members Mark to Enfamil they are IDENTICAL.  No diference in product... only difference is price.  I can get double the amount of formula for half the price.  I would recommend this product to my closest family and friends and anyone else.

We switched to this formula from Enfamil to save money but my baby began spitting up like a fountain and it never did subside. Nutritionally, both Member's Mark and Enfamil is the same, but they are processed differently. The texture of the Member's Mark formula is not the same and is not as refined as Enfamil and it needs to be mixed with very warm water to dissolve completely. Needless to say we are back to using Enfamil and the spit-up is no longer an issue. I give it 3 stars for effort, though.

After having my son on the more expensive formula for several months I decided to try out the Sam's brand. I was leery that my son wouldn't adjust to it and I was having to buy such a large amount at once. It was well worth it. My son had no problems, and I absolutely loved the cost savings. I also really liked having to only buy one big can a week rather than 2 or 3 small cans. I would completely recommend this formula. I think one should at least test it out.

After stopping breastfeeding and even while weaning my now 5 year old and 10 month old I've been using the Members Mark Gentle Infant Formula Powder with Iron, DHA and ARA Lipds. It is comparable with the Enfamil Gentlease Lipil and the proof is on the cans. Both my son's seem to love the taste and the price at SAM's is easy on the wallet when compared to other stores for the name brand formula's. Three cans cost $58.14 or $19.38 per can at Sams Club.

The only downfall of this is the smell. I thought I had spoiled formula in my son's bottle until I realized that I had just made his bottle 20 minutes...

I used this formula when my son decided he liked the bottle more than the breast. I just couldn't afford all those expensive formulas. Actually, the ingredients and nutrients are about the same if you compare brands, and better than some! My son had no problem switching between the members mark stuff that we used at home and the expensive Enfamil that they used in daycare-- he couldn't even tell the difference!

When I first tried this formula, I was very skeptic about it.  I will usually pay more for better brands/ quality.  When I read the nutritional information and compared it to Enfamil,  I saw no difference and decided to try it.  My baby loves it just as much and I am saving about half the money.

We had started our little girl out on Enfamil when we decided to supplement breastmilk since Enfamil is what the daycare we are taking her to provides.

She like Enfamil and had no problems with it.  So, we went that route for a while, but the price and size of the Member's Mark can was just too good to not try given that nutritionally, it is the same as enfamil.

I will say that it does not look the same as Enfamil- sligtly more yellow color and a little coarser grained- but my daughter seems to like it just as well.  So, I think this is going to be the formula she gets at home from now on.

I don't know what I'd do without this formula!  It is THE MOST inexpensive formula that has DHA ARA & iron that I've found.  It's comparable to all the costly brands.  I really can't tell a difference because my kids have both loved it.  It is a huge can, so you get more bang for your buck!  At under $20, it's a steal!  My children have both thrived while drinking this formula, and I won't buy anything else because there's no reason to!  I did experiment with my first child and tried all the pricey brands and found that this formula met all my expectations.

My daughter was exclusively on B.M for the first three months and we started to wean her to formula.  She received half B.M and half formula for until she was 5 months.  She liked the taste of the member's mark formula better than the B.M.!

We are extremely happy with it and have found it mixes well with a formula pitcher.  Also, the price (about $20 for 3.5 pounds) can't be beat!

I used Similac with my first child after briefly breastfeeding; and after just quitting work, money was not a huge factor.  Now, a little over three years later and having been staying at home, money is a much larger factor.  So I was more open to other options with my second child.  A friend recommended the Sam's brand--Member's Mark--to me some time ago.  According to her pediatrician, it's just like Enfamil, and she used it with her second child upon recommendation from a friend.  I did a little research and it is nutritionally identical to Enfamil, and according to reviews that I found,...

I picked up a can of Member's Mark formula when I was pregant with my second daughter.  Our plan was to breast feed, but that didn't work out.  I'm so glad that I had a can of formula on stand-by.  We started her on it at 4 days old and we've had very little spit up or gas issues.  I'm so very pleased with this item.  I always have a can on back up and would never consider subbing a name brand formula!

Members mark infant formula is a great way to save money. Great quality, healthful infant formula for a super low price. Its a no brainer. The large container means less time spent shopping and less junk in your trash can. my baby showed no signs of change of taste from more expensive brand. love it.
