MemberoftheFamily.net website provides information about 16,000 medicare/medicaid certified nursing homes in the United States in an easy to read format.  The Centers For Medicare and Medicaid conduct annual site reviews of all nursing homes and here is where you can find the reports on how those nursing homes rate.  It is an invaluable tool for those looking for a place for a senior.  Information is free, it is by state, and includes information on the latest findings.  They provide information about which facilities are on the Honor Roll and which are on the "Watch" list - which means they have severe issues that need correction.  It also includes information on veteran's homes.
