I had a Home Cafe that I used until it wore out. I loved it and wanted to replace it but found it had been discontinued and the new ones were expensive. I found this Melitta One:One at Big Lots for $12. Original retail was as high as the Home Cafe and since Melitta is a known name with a good reputation I thought I was getting a bargain. If I hadn't already experienced the Home Cafe I wouldn't know any different, but comparitively the Home Cafe beats it hands down.

The one cup can actually brew several cups consequetively jus putting in a new pod each time. I have gone on line to find my "coffee's " in pod form and there are several suppliers who are more reasonably priced than the commercial coffees at the supermarket. I recently purchased this item. I had been looking for one at a reasonable price and was glad that I found it at a great price. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and am enjoying it. I went on the internet and found out how to make my own pod. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Melitta Coffee Maker is perfect for when you want a fresh, fresh cup of hot coffee. Recommended to folks who live alone or just doesn't want to make a full pot of coffee. It works great and makes coffee very well.

I enjoy coffee but my husband does not like me to leave the pot on as the coffee gets nasty tasting after awhile so when I saw an offer online to get the Melitta One Cup Coffeemaker and a years worth of pods, it was easy to say yes to try it. Now I have had it for over a year and there is no way I could do without it and bought a second just in case they get discontinued. The coffee and tea flavors are really good and usually what you can't find in a grocery store. I can easily get 6 cups of tea out of one pod as I like it a little weaker than most people.
