Melissa and Doug Wooden Puzzles Reviews

Melissa and Doug puzzles are the best on the market in my opinion. They are manufactured in their own plant in China and not subcontracted. They actually work with the people building these and have good control on quality and safety.

We have a large range of puzzles from the basic individual pieces that slot in, to the sounds Fire Engine, to the larger jigsaw puzzle style. They have grown nicely with my daughter and she still loves to go back to the easier ones to do those as well. I love that they are made of wood and not cardboard. Little hands tend to bend cardboard or someone chews on them...

If your looking for a good quality inexpensive gift to give your child (ren) or as a gift for a Birthday party etc the Melissa and Doug puzzels are great.  The pieces are larger than normal, DON'T bend easily and you can wipe them clean with a damp rag.  I have found these at Belk Department store for $9.99 and Learning Express for $12.99 the perfect price for a birthday party gift.  I know they have the following because we have them...

Melissa and Doug toys are awesome!  There are so many varieties to choose from and different age ranges.  Basically, these puzzles grow with your child! They very basic ones are suitable for a child who is age 2.  Then they go in stages until you have more intricate ones for children who are 10 or 12!  Because they are durable (unlike the cardboard puzzles), they last a long time! That means you can use them for all of your children as they grow. With all of the different themes, your child(ren) will never be bored!  These puzzles make learning fun!

I love this Melissa and Doug puzzle however it does tend to make sounds when no one is playing with it. There are nights where my husband and I are watching tv and a horse sound will scare us.  My son loves it though and that means a lot to me. Whatever makes him learn!
