My son learned every state before he was 2-- thanks to this map

I am a proud parent of a very curious toddler that loves to stretch his brain. He is into puzzles and could sit for hours. The U.S. Map by Melissa and Doug is one that can entertain him for hours. In fact, when he was 2, he learned where to put every state-- and could do it without the boundary lines. To him, it was just another puzzle. To me, it was amazing that he knew the map start to finish. "Oh, Mommy... that's Utah. That's Idaho." Shocker!

We only made it through the states, however, the puzzle I have has capitals too. Now, that is next on the list! (and will be a good refresher for me too!) ...

I love melissa and doug puzzles and only will buy them
a believer in creative toys, budget conscious, Every day computer user, happy to play with my kids, a protective mom, cost-conscious, parent of toddlers, a fan of educational toys

I love Melissa and doug puzzles and this one is fun although I totally don't expect my 2 1/2 year to know the states and capitals but I totally believe in introducing things like this, and that if I keep showing things like this to her she will eventually absorb it. And I love educational toys, kids are so smart and their potential is endless.

As someone who love to learn my daughter ha found this item to be one of her favorite.  We also likes to travel so we find the toy comes with us to some of the most exciting places and she loves the fact that she knows where we are. It is a very simple learning tool but it teaches alot.
