Melissa and Doug Alphabet Sound Puzzle Review

The Alphabet Sound Puzzle has taken peg puzzles to the next level. Crisp, clear sounds play when the pieces are properly placed into the board to positively reinforce your childs play.Match the removable wooden magnetic shapes to their correct spots. This educational, beautifully illustrated wood puzzle helps build a variety of recognition skills, early vocabulary and matching skills. Ages 2+ however I gave this to my daughter at age 1.  She was ok with it until she started throwing the letters on the floor when she was frustrated with something other than the letters.  So then it got put away and I've taken it out recently again. 

Ok here is the part that I find extremely annoying.....the sound from the puzzle pieces go off on their own sometimes without anyone touching them.  Like I was in the back rooms of my apartment and all I kept hearing was F is for Fish! F is for Fish! Over and over and over.  I wanted to throw the darn thing out the window. So if this happens you might want to take out the batteries in the back of it.  It takes two small AAA batteries.
