This soap is very gentle and really helped my daughter overcome eczema on her hands from dryness and excessive hand washing. It is also very great to use right before applying melaleuca renew lotion on them. I am a big fan of the renew products!! Effectiveness This soap works very well at cleaning hands and is not abrasive. It also does not contain an excessive amount of chemicals which can strip the skin of its natural moisturizers. I was very impressed with the healing that happened in just a short amount of time after using this product. My daughter's hands went from dry "scabby" looking to soft without any bumps or dryness. This was after using this product about a week and also after applying renew lotion to the hands after washing them. After this period of healing ended, we did switch back to an regular hand soap because this soap is more expensive. Her hands have stayed eczema free with the use of lotion only, but we will use this soap again if the hand eczema returns. Scent The scent is very faint and is not very strong or overpowering.

I recently received this product and I love it!  I have used the Melaleuca Renew lotion and think it is one of the best. I decided to try the Melaleuca Renew Intensive moisturizing hand wash and found that it too is fantastic. When you press down on the handle, a large amount of foam is dispensed. The foam is plenty to feel like I am washing my entire hand. It is very pleasant smelling and washes off easily. The light scent is pleasant without being overwhelming or so heavy that it conflicts with my perfume. After washing my hands using the Renew moisturizing hand wash, my hands do not feel sticky and they dry quickly. This Renew leaves my hands feeling soft and clean. I love the way this product cleans and the bottle seems to last forever. Although it is a liquid, the pump turns it into a foam and that makes the product last longer. The price is comparable to other hand washes, but the quantity is larger due to the foaming technique.
