Meindl - Alaska Hunter Review

This boot is a great boot. I plan to have it for years. I've used it for several months, now, on several hikes and on a moderate hunt. The boots get better with time...mostly because I've learned how to tie them, correctly. The lacing system allows for very specific tightening of the important areas of the foot, allowing for a customized boot fit for the terrain and for your foot. As I've learned to allow some movement in specific lacing loops and less movement in others, the boots have become so comfortable they're now my favorite footwear.
