Our family had lots of fun with these blocks. we have had many kodak moments, of building structures. Many toddler sized castles aprox 2-3ft high, we also invested in mega blocks railroad towns availible for purchace.( not sure if the railroad is still avail.) over the years we 'in all" owened approx 10 bags for three children, and made some children very happy when we passed them on a few years back. My only bad thing I can say is if you purchase a bag that has the blocks with Tires ,I had to remove them(the tires that is until the children got older.)-Chokeing hazard for young children.

In response to AmyA's comment from Mar 15, 2008 at 8:41AM:

Mega blocks makes "two kinds of blocks" one for "toddler" that have thicker soft rounded edges,so it it is pressed upon the skin and mouth it wont harm them like the "older kids" blocks may that have a thiner bottom like lego' s do.

I suggest looking at the bottom of the block to see if it is (Rounded = Toddler) or (Regular = Older kids)
The more blocks the better the better things you can create..
I have to upload the photo's I grabbed out to put in that the kids built things with we really had alot of fun with blocks
know its k-nex and legos..That they are older :))

These sound perfect for the grandson. Is there a min. age for these blocks?
