I bought the mega blocks as gift for my son when he was only 6mo. old. I know that seems a little young. So why you wonder, well I heard something about kids learning from building blocks. I really don't remember the details, but I know the exsperts say it helps them learn better in alot of ways. But come on, what kid hasn't played with building blocks as a kid. There colorful, make fun for hrs. and kids learn to build diffrent thing. My son just loves them. To this day still plays with them. He's three. I'll even join in the fun. My son and I will build towers, houses, castles, bridges, and so much more. We'll bowl with them. Build tall towers, well over my head. My son loves it when I to that. He will also take the small single pieces and put them together and use them as a horn. He'll try to balance them. He'll attach the pieces and prtend there a train. My son has a very good imagination. I think he learned some of it from his oldest nephew. Who stil plays with the blocks as wll, and hes five. My youngest nephew is a trip when it comes to those blocks. He loves them. He watches his oldest nephew and tries to copy them. He even tries to do his own thing. I think all kids love blocks. I even plane to buy more to add to his collection. This a great gift for all ages. I highly recommend getting this product for your kids.
A loving mother.
