My mom was operated on in August 2006 in Massachusetts. In Florida she has items that enable her to be as safe as possible. We didn't have anything; however. We went to a store that sold medical devices. (You may be able to find some at Walgreen's.) One item was the Medline Bath Bench. It's great in the short term but for long term use I'd get a different one.

I'd recommend this to anyone, old, young, disabled, healthy, it's just that good. I needed something after taking a fall and having a heavy object fall on top of me, which was WHY I fell.
