Ever wonder what it felt like to be placed in the earlier times where people would crowd in an arena and watch men duel, somewhat like in the movie Gladiator? Now is the chance to watch this live action and very entertaining show!

Medieval Times is an excellent restaurant as well as a live entertainment source. When visiting Medieval Times, the setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of the medieval days. There is a museum you can walk through before the show begins, which shows the chambers and jails of earlier times. Once entering the main building, you are handed a crown with distinct colors representing your team. In my case, I was the Red and Yellow team. The arena is divided into sections for each team and you are seated on a long bench next to other strangers. Before the show begins, you are greeted at your seating by your slave. He will make sure you call him Slave! :) He will ask what drinks you would like before the food is served. The food is exquisite and hearty. You will more than likely be filled up quickly as you have bread, soup, ribs, and chicken, along with your drinks. One warning (I didn't mind though), there are no utensils! Who said they had utensils back then? :P The soup has a handle in which you can drink from the bowl, and the ribs and chicken are finger foods. When the show begins you are introduced to the person who represents your team, then a series of contests begin for that individual and you cheer them on. After the contests, they start dueling each other and at the very end the winner of the duels fights the big guy (the black knight, I believe). The show is completely spectacular and no matter how many words I try to use to describe it, it will be less than what it really is. You will leave there with a sense of strength and a whole lot of fun, don't forget, the memories you will take with you are like no other!
