I rented a Medela Symphony II Breastpump from the hospital where I delivered my twins. The lactation specialists brought one to my room to use during my stay, since my girls were born premature and were too small to breastfeed. I had heard horrible stories from other women about using breastpumps (hard to use, extremely painful, etc.) so I was nervous about using any pump. The Symphony II, however, proved to be excellent. It was very easy to use and had controls to adjust the suction level so it was not painful at all! Even when I started to get sore, I could just turn down the suction level and...
review »I LOVE the Medela Symphony breastpump! It is simply the best of the best! Medela is well known for it's quality products and expertise in breastfeeding.
As an OB nurse and a mom, I have recommended and personally used this pump. With my first daughter, I had a good milk supply in the beginning. Then, after my maternity leave was over and I had to go back to a busy and unpredictable work schedule, my milk supply dropped quickly with the rather expensive "otherbrand" breastpump I was using at the time. It dropped so much that we had to start using formula supplements. I tried a couple of different...
review »The Symphony Breastpump from Medula is an amazing two phase breast pump. I am very budget centered, and this is well worth the extra money. This is a hospital grade pump that expresses milk with ease and without discomfort. It allows for the user to adjust settings to fit your own personal preferences. I am the mother of two premies and this pump allowed me to establish my milk supply and to maintain my milk supply to nurse until both were 12 months old. I rented my pump from the hospital which off set the cost, by not purchasing it. It is easy to clean and maintain and it also has...
review »I absolutely love the Medela Breast Pumps. I have used three of them to help with my two kids. I used the hospital-graded pump when my daugther was born and she was a preemie. She was in the hospital for two weeks after birth and before she could go home. Pumping helped me to increase my milk supply and stocked up my freezer. Did the same thing when my son was born. I have used the Original Medela Breast pump Metro Bag, Pump in Style Advanced Medela Breast pump Shoulder Bag and the Symphony Hospital-grade Medela Breast pump. I would give each breast pump High 5's. Would give them more if there...
review »When I was in the hospital for post delivery I rented this and I loved it. Pump was very expensive and I couldnt afford it but If I had the funds I would have definetly purchased it. Very fast comes with everything you need. The pump is bulky and you will not be able to multi task unless you have the supporting bra but other than that...this pump gets the job done!
As a working mother, breastfeeding can be difficult at times. The medela symphony breastpump makes my life much easier. It allows me to work and provide my baby with the best nutritional gift I can give her. It is easy to use and mimmicks a baby's natural suck pattern. I would recommend this to any breastfeeding mom!
I have used the Symphony breast pump while nursing my son. I loved it so much I am renting it again. I am a working mom and really needed something that was quick and easy. It is quiet and efficient. It has a "let down" feature that really mimics your baby's own sucking. I would definitely recommend this pump.
By far the best pump! After my 3rd, I was only able to use this at the hospital. Now on my 4th, it was waiting at home for me! Quiet too!
