I bought this pump after having to rent a hospital-grade pump for 2 months, which I had to use almost daily after my daughter was born prematurely. After extensive research, I decided to buy the PIS breast-pump, which I was planning to use at work. I have been using it for 6 months now and I am ver impressed with the succion, which I find to be ad good as the hospital grade pump's. I have never had a problem with it and will probaby use after I have second child! I love this pump. I got it originally since our baby was premature and was in the NICU for a couple of weeks. Since I had the pump, she was on formula for only 3-4 days. After that, she had breastmilk by feeding tube and then by bottle. It's about as stylish as a pump can get. It's durable too. I have used it about every 3 hours for a month. I plan to use it much more once I return to work. A neat feature I hadn't noticed before I got it was that you can remove the pump from the bag. I can't say enough good things about the Medela double breast pump!  The motor is high-powered and adjustable and so is the suction!  This is great for mother's who are breastfeeding for the first time and may be more sensitive than other mother's.  The double pumping not only helps to empty both breasts faster but it also serves to increase your milk supply since your body senses you're feeding two bambinos at once!  I've used mine through 3 babies and it's still going… read full review »

I exclusively pumped for a year on this Medela pump and I love it! You can even pump in the car! I had absolutely no problems with it and plan to use it with the next baby. The Medela company has great costumer service if you have a problem. i got a medela hand pump and i was recommended to use it my a lactation consultant. I got it and it literaly turns my nipples purple from how hard the suction is.
