A few days ago a review I wrote about Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna caused a few twitters of concern because I mentioned that I had heard that albacore was not safe to eat more than once in a while. On a recent shopping trip I bought some more Aqua Star seafood, this time I grabbed their Sole Fillets in a 12oz. package in the frozen section of the Dillon's. I'm a fairly recent vegetarian (about 2 years) and when the family gets together to barbecue, their directive is "bring something you'll eat to put on the grill". Although I do like a lot of the veggie burger products out there, sometimes you want something a little different. This bratwurst-type is tasty, easy to cook on the grill, and looks a lot like the original. Into each life a little rain must fall and alas, trying this product was an experience which landed with a thud. I had high hopes for Eckrich Reduced Fat Hard Salami and was disappointed. This is not to say that this doesn't taste right. Unlike Kraft Fat Free American Cheese, I can imagine someone eating this with gusto. I love Johnsonville Beer Brats. They are great. I buy them to put on the grill. For some reason, they just seem to be the perfect grilling sausage. I'm not sure if it's the unique blend of meats and spices or just the way they plump up on the grill. Maybe it's because they deliver all that flavorful juiciness into your mouth from the first bite to the last. Your "bird in a Bag" was a find during a local supoer market promotion. We roasted it per direction but it needed 20 more minutes to temp out in the breast. It was the BEST we have ever had in the prepared catagory of any food! We love most of the Schwan's frozen product but this was out of this world delicious! We had a guest who raved and raved and then raved even more when she found we had not seasoned it.
