McDonalds Southern Style Chicken Sandwich Reviews

I was surprised to open one of my bredit card bills and there I found two coupons.  One was for a free Southern Style Chicken sandwich and one for the new Southern chicken breakfast on a biscuit.  Well, since they were absolutely free (not even the purchase of a beverage was required) we decided to take McDonald's up on their offer.  Big mistake.  The Chicken Sandwich was bland, no sauce of any kind,  just terrible.  The next morning we tried the chicken and biscuit.  Even worse.  I can not believe that this will be on the menu much longer.  It was not worth the cost of the gas to get...

Chicken is such a yummy light meat that I can't imagine it being bad for you. At least not in the hands of anybody but McDonalds. These chicken sandwiches will kill you with all the grease built into every one and they don't even taste good. At least their horrible tasting little death burgers can be eaten without making a mess all over the front seat of the car, but the chicken biscuits can't because the biscuits crumble apart leaving a mess on your front seat that's almost as unsightly as what its doing to your digestive system.

Nasty stuff!!

I have heard people say these are so tasty but I disagree. Maybe it's because I'm a condiment person but I feel like simply putting a couple pickles on chicken and a bun, leaves the sandwhich tasting very bland. Slap some mayo on there and I'd be happy. I do have to admit that the chicken is much better quality than the McChicken though. So why not put the lettuce and mayo on the good chicken and make it the new McChicken? The sandwich just really lacks something.

Everytime I go to McDonalds I enjoy eating the southern style chicken sandwich. It is the best one i have ever tried. I recommend anyone visiting McDonalds to give this sandwich a try. They will enjoy it. The Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is moist, tender, and has southern style taste to it that is very delicious. The sandwich is not greasy as other chicken sandwichs from the different competitors.

The southern style chicken sandwich is seriously one of the very best sandwiches in both usa and mcdonalds.The southern style chicken sandwich contains southern style chicken breast filet,two buns,pickles slices,liquid margarine and delicious mayonaise it is most probraly the very  best southern style chicken sandwich ever  with 400 calories,17 grams of fat 45 milligrams of cholestrol 1030 milligrams of sodium,39 carbohydrates,6 grams of sugar,24 grams of protein,100 milligrams of vitamin a,2 milligrams of vitamin c,and 10 milligrams of both calcium and iron it makes the sandwich very healthy...

Very good sandwich. a good idea, but it should only be a seasonal item. IT wont be there forever. Much like the Mc Rib.

I think that Mc donalds is trying to do the "southern" flavor for the lower states. I an not sure how this will fair. But its a good enough attempt and should get some good run.

I tried this sandwich and thought it would be a great thing to try, but when i bite into this sandwich it taste like feet.

The fact that it has dill pickles with a chicken sandwich is now just gross,  my sandwich was cold and had a funny taste to it.
