When the mcgriddles at McDonalds first came out I thought I would try them.  I was curious.  I love McDonalds breakfast foods.  My first bite was my last.  It was AWFUL.  I just could not stand the sweet taste mixed with the sausage.  I am a person that has to eat all my foods separate.  The syrup in the griddle cake was just TOO sweet.  Separately the pieces would probably have been fine, but not together.  Recently my 11 yr old wanted to try one.  He did not like it at all either and he is an AVID McDonalds fan.  But a friend of my oldest son, the MCGriddle is all he likes at McDs.  So there is nothing wrong with the sandwich.  It just all depends on your tastes.
