the maytag topload washer may have at one time been a reliable washer...not anymore, not only did it do a poor job, it broke down several times I guess they are making more money repairing them, than selling them, STAY AWAY from MAYTAG. they were calling themselves the dependability people they...  better get a new name. I ended up buying a little known brand and its doing an excellent job...no problems at all!

Well since me and my boyfriend just bought our first house.... we had to buy everything since we had both lived with our parents. We also have a 2 year old daughter and we just knew we had to get a good washing machine. Now that she 2 and moving around more and doing more her clothes are always dirty.

I purchased this washer and dryer set from a local home improvement store. I was very excited to have new laundry equipment. Overall, this washer works very well. It is pretty fast, I haven't seen a spike in our electricity or water bills, fits enough clothing for our family (2 adults and 2 dogs). However, it is a bit more noisy than I would like. I want to turn the washer on and be able to sit in the next room and not hear it at all.

I would like to have a little more room.  I feel like putting a big comforter in it is a little cramped and does not do the best job but other than that it is a great washing machine.  It cleans excellent.  It is not too loud.  I like the setting options.  It is easy to use; even a child could figure it out.  I also like the top load style.  I think that this is the most convenient style.  I can easily look in and see just how full it is.  It is durable and does a great job cleaning the close.

Can washing clothes be fun?  It can certainly be more enjoyable with this Maytag washer!  In the past I've found that I couldn't wash too many clothes at a time because the washer would fill up too quickly, and the clothes weren't always completely spotless.  It's great to be able to keep up with the laundry without doing so many loads with this large capacity washer.  The clothes are thoroughly somersaulted through the water for a thorough cleaning.  It's many features, including timed release for detergent, bleach and fabric softener, and 11 different wash cycles that give you a choice for... read full review »

I only like the magtag top load washers. They are great products that last longer than other machines on the market. I prefer top load because I have a bad back and do not like bending over to get clothes out of the front load washing machines.

I purchased my Maytag Top Loader Washer almost 5 years ago. My previous washer was going out and I called a repair person. The cost of fixing my previous washer was not worth doing so I asked the repair person for a recommendation. He recommended anything by Maytag. I have the Top Loader/Heavy Duty/High Load capacity top loading washer and it is great! it is easy to use and I have never had any problems with it. It is much quieter than my previous washer as well. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Great machine and it has met my needs over and over. It's heavy duty enough for my quilts and blankets and it's durable enough to last.

I love how quiet it runs; it seems to have half the noise that my old machine had. Clothes come out clean and I don't have the tangled bras and tank tops as I did with my old machine.

love my Maytag washer, I have had it for three years.  However it seems a little rough on some of my clothes and I must use the delicate cycle for more items than I did with my old washer/ my clothes do come out very clean and it is very easy to keep the outside of the Maytag looking great.

Does what you would expect from a washer, cleans your clothes!!! Sheets do not cause unbalanced load often, so quiet I need a timer to tell me its done. So easy to use that my teenagers can use it. It is definately worth the price and if it went caput on me, I would buy another of the same brand and model.

Our washing machine runs at least 2 loads a day, and after 4 years, my washer is running with no problems! It has extra large capacity, and gets my clothes very clean! 

I really like the stainless steel drum.  It never rips or tears like the plastic drum can, and it never absorbs smells from laundry that turns sour.  The automatic temperature control also optimizes my soap usage.  I can use the minimum recommended abount of laundry soap, and my clothes come out great!

 The Maytag top load washer is the best washer I have ever owned. It is powerful enough to completely clean your clothes, but gentle enough not to tear them up. All it's features are great, and it makes laundry chores so much easier. I encourage people to purchase this washer. They will never be sorry they did, and the price is very reasonable.

My Maytag washing machine meets my laundry needs from small delicates to large heavy duty loads.  It is quiet and completely allows me to adjust to the load through the various load size, temperature of water and the type of load from delicate, wrinkle free and heavy duty.  No repairs have been necessary.
