Machine description says it's large load capacity but it is not!

Maytag Washer - Perfoma —

     I have a large family, four children, my husband and I. I was told by the appliance salesman that this model had a large capacity load capability. I have found that the machine can only handle five or six towels at a time. It will also only handle 4 pairs of jeans and will not even hold anything above a full size blanket or comforter. If you try to put any more in the machine than the amount mentioned the machine goes off balance. The inside of the machine is deeper instead of wider so you have to bend over pretty far to get clothes out.
     I spend my money very wisely especially on clothes. I try to get bargains and clearance items. I have three very active teenage boys along with a husband that is a fireman. They all get pretty dirty and stinky, so it is very frustrating when the machine does not clean clothes very well. I pre-treat everything with a stain but it does not seem to matter.
     The only positive thing I can say about this machine is that there is a wide variety of settings available on the dials.
     I definately would not recommend this machine to anyone and can't wait to get a new one myself.
