I was very excited when I purchased my new neptune maytag washing machine 9 years ago. I was anticipating that it would last at least 15 to 20 years, since the maytag washer that I had before was still going strong after 25 years. I was so disappointed when my $1000 washer died last week. We have since bought a whirlpool and are hoping for the best :)
