I have owned my neptune front loading washing machine for about three years now, and i really love it. It is a very heavy duty washer which hold bigger loads then your basic top loading machine. It does a great job at getting the clothes clean  and i have never had to have the maytag man out to fix it either.

The  wonderful thing about a front loader you don;t need to add as much detergent to it so you are saving a lot of money buy using a front loading machine so you are coming out ahead and i feel it uses less energy too.

My Maytag Neptune washier is almost seven years old.  It is dependable, quiet and does the best cleaning i have ever seen.  This Maytag Neptune handles anything that i throw at it, from rugs to dellcates.  Everything always come out perfect.  Even oversize comforters from our king size bed.

When we bought our new house, I demanded the Neptune front loading pair for the utility room and I have never regreted it.  The Maytag Neptune front loading washer has been a dream come true!  The Maytag repairman is out of a job here in Kingman.

Due to sapace considerations, I was forced to purchase a front load machine.  I have had excellent service from Maytag machine over the past 60+ years and am very happy with the brand.  However, my front  load is very, very slow, requiring most of the day to do a simple weeks laundry.  I am also not too thrilled with the agitation feature, which is supposed to be"the newEuropen way".  It stops and starts repeatedly.

I bought the Neptune washer, dryer almost 11 years ago.  I love the front loader, easier on clothes and water.  I had no problem with either until the washer was 10 years old, almost to the day.  I had it repaired, big mistake as it cost over $600, however I think that is the problem with all washers, not worth repairing.  I should have just bought a new one.    Now 9 months after the repairs it is doing the same thing so here comes the holidays and I have to go out and buy a washer.  The dryer is still going strong.

Overall, this machine is good. We have had some problems with the rubber seal around the door becomming twisted or pulled away which allows water to spill onto the floor. Love the huge capacity but you need the large dryer otherwise you can't dry the whole load at once in a older style dryer.  Love the different settings such as sanitary, quick rinse...
