Maytag Neptune Dryer — 

This is the first Gas dryer I have had. I bought gas because some friends said they had one and loved it, so I decided to try. I am so glad that I did. Had electric before and it never dried the clothes completely unless it was a small load. This gas one dries large loads every time.

I bought my Maytag Neptune (MCE8000AYW) w/ the Drying Center in July 2005. It was under warranty when the motherboard went out in 2007. Now it has quit heating completely in the main drying area underneath. The parts are no longer made to fix it and absolutely no one can help me. The center WAS wonderful when it worked. Now, four years later, it is completely useless, so I will go purchase a new dryer & NEVER buy a Maytag ever again.
