The Maytag side by side door refrigerator is an  energy saving refrigerator with plenty of room to store your fresh items with the freezer just below .  The freezer being right below is great and saves you steps . It runs so quiet you dont even know its there. The refrigerator has plently of room to store your bottles.  The fresh fruits and vegetable compartments are at a good level when opening the doors. I like the fresh keeper levrs on each drawer.   The fresh keeper drawer is a nice wide, deep drawer for storing many items,  I keep fresh meat there until I need during week or get ready...

We purchased this refrigerator in Nov 2008 during a total kitchen remodel.  We had trouble with it freezing everything on the left side of the refrigerator so called a repair man while it was still under warranty.  He came out, ordered a part and the problem was fixed.

Except now the ice maker didn't work.  They replaced the ice maker and now I am very happy.  I love the bottom freezer although I must be neater now and organize the frozen items so everything can fit.  The top refrigerator is great with the wide deli drawer clear across the bottom. When this style refrigerator first came out I searched every brand and price I could find. I did not buy it right away because none of them had any ice and water available in the door. This is a must when you have a large family and kids running around. This way your refrigerator is not being opened and closed everytime someone wants a drink of water. Finally i found this Maytag and I was thrilled not only did it have ice and water but it had movable shelves, cooler area in door for milk and other drinks, and wallah it had a pull out drawer large enough for platters. We have a Maytag refrigerator ad we love it. Our older MAytag is on our porch still running and serves as a backup. It is a reliable and well made appliance. Would always buy one. The only negative is the icemaker, but I have never had a a refrigerator that didnt have something wrong with the ice maker.

Wonderful product! Reliability and repair ratings are great. Stylish yet very functional.Ease to clean.If you have children you may want to get a different finish to hide fingerprints. With the two of us it isn't a problem.Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry soft cloth.

The pullout drawers and accessibility for different large items is there!
