Maytag has an excellent reputation among repair people, and this dryer has certainly bared that our for our family but the most exciting feature is the steam. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that I can put my family's dress clothes in and have them come out wrinkle free with minimum fuss and time. I like its uncomplicated settings, its wrinkle guard and the ability to tell the dryer just how dry I want the clothes. This feature is well done, sometimes with dryers I have encountered that this setting does not work properly and when your dealing with delicates it is lovely to not have to worry about that. Design I wish the door opening was a bit bigger, but that is so minor compared to its pros.

I live in a household where we have eight people, six adults and two children. My grandparents that I live with bought this because our old one finally died. This dryer can not hold alot and if you should put a full load into it the dryer takes forever to dry. I dont have the time to wait all day for my clothes to be dry and with my family we have to at least do one load a day to keep up with all of our dirty clothes. Most of the time we are all busy working or doing other important things to make sure that load is done so we have now made certain days for certain people in my house. After 6 months of having this dryer we ended up taking it back and getting a different one and we havent been happier. I would only recommend this to a one person household if you should have a family I would get something bigger and better. Load Capacity This dryer says it holds alot but it really doesnt. For how much we paid for it it should have been made better. Performance This dryer only works if you put very small loads into it if your dont you will be waiting all day for it to dry one load of clothes. Ease of Use this was not made for older people my grandparents had read the instructions and I still had to show them how to use it every time they did laundry. Durability This product never broke on us but it didnt do its job either Design Looks are not everything because it looks great but drys horribly

We purchased this dryer three years ago and it works very well! We had one issue with the latch, but it was fixed quickly. It offers several settings, although we normally use the bulky setting. This ensures that our clothes are dry within one cycle. It's somewhat loud, but not any louder than other dryers. Overall we've been very pleased.

I was amazed how fast this dryer dries my clothes. The normal cycle is only 38 minutes long. It has a huge capacity and can dry a lot of clothes. Combined with the washing machine it has cut my laundry time in half. I would highly recommend this dryer. Another bonus is that it is all American made.

We are a family of 11 and my washer and dryer are constantly being utilized. We decided to purchase this dryer when our last one of 6 years decided to give up. We shopped around and were told by several sellers and maintenance workers that Maytag was the company to go with as far as longevity and wear and tear. We were looking for something simple that would last a long time. No frills and nothing excessive but something that would hold up with all of our demands. It has not let us down as of yet. It dries great and is quiet when it is running. I have not had any problems with the size of loads or things getting hung up with excessive wrinkling. It has been a good purchase for us and I am happy with our choice.

the Maytag gas dryer is so very gentle on my clothes and it is fast without using too much heat.  The controls offer dozens of combinations so you can choose exactly what is right for your load.  I LOVE my Maytag - it is a workhorse!  No matter if it is the dog's blanket or my most fragile sweaters, the Maytag handles the task wonderfully!!

I just got married and I wanted to invest the best our money, so we choose the maytag dryer, it is really eficient and the wrinkle prevent is not like ironing your clothes but it helps, and who does not want a little of help?? I think the price is fare for the quality of the machine and the box that goes under the dryer is helpful to stock the detergents there.
