When my last gas range stopped working I went shopping for a new one with some specific nedds in mind.  I had a price range and was limited to a gas range, which I prefer anyway.

We purchased the Maytag Gemini 2.5 years ago.  I wanted the dual ovens and 5 burners.  HOWEVER, we've been having problems with the stove's "Sabbith" mode, which effectively shuts down the ovens and timers.  We were completely freaked out when it started saying "Sabbith" and bleaping and blinking! ...

I don't know how I survived without this all these years!

Get a chance to get one? GET ONE! You will NEVER regret it. Mine has the flat top, and 2 ovens, all electric. Its fantastic!

I have the Maytag Gemini with convection oven and I am loving it!  I couldn't believe how fast the smaller oven heats up.  I'm not even done in preparing the food that I need to bake.  How awesome is that!  I have a Thanksgiving meal to prepare and so looking forward to having my food all done at the same time.

Love the convenience of double oven.

I love the Maytag Gemini double oven.  It has a flat top stove with 4 burners plus a warming burner.  The 2 large burners also can be used as smaller burners by switching them to a smaller setting.  The top small oven heats to 450 degrees in less than 2 minutes so warm up time is a breeze.  The large bottom oven is very deep allowing for 2 baking pans to sit side by side on a single rack.

Crap with the Maytag Label

We've had to replace the keypad on our three-year old stove, to the tune of $240.  The repairman said he makes a lot of $$ replacing these.  Simmer burner doesn't really even keep things warm...
