Maytag Dryer - Electric Dryer Reviews

We are extremely pleased with our new Maytag dryer.  We weren't looking for the new style dryer.  Our dryer had broken and within 24 hours, after shopping around and knowing what our budget was, we found this Maytag and have been very pleased.  Installation of the new dryer was simple.  It is drying our clothes in about 20 minutes faster than our older dryer was.  The size of this dryer is perfect for a family.  The drum is much larger than the average dryer.  I would certainly recommend this dryer for anyone who is shopping for a dryer with a budget in mind.

The Maytag Electric dryer holds a BIG LOAD!  I have had this dryer for about 3 years and never had any maintenance issues.  It dries clothes well, and has plenty of features.  You can choose a "timed dry" and select how many minutes to run a load, or you can choose "sensor dry" and allow the dryer to sense when clothes are no longer moist.  There are also the typical features of cool air, fluff, etc.

The one very annoying thing about this dryer is that it has a beeper that goes off when the clothes are dry.  My beeper has been on the fritz for about a year.  It starts randomly beeping over...

The Maytag Centennial Electric Dryer works great! It also was priced within my budget. The dryer is a little wider than my old dryer at 29 inches wide, but luckily it fit in the designated spot in my laundry room. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but in my opinion it does everything it needs to do.

A feature I really like is the interior light which is a very nice convenience for filling or emptying the dryer. The Centennial has a reversible door so you can open it the direction that works best for you. The door opens completely and has a wide opening. The end of cycle signal is a little...

 I've had my maytag dryer for over 10 years now! and I LOVE IT.. I have 4 kids. And do at least 3 loads of laundry a day. now thats regular laundry. Not counting once a week.. change of sheets... and once a month.. adding curtains etc. all the extras! And I have yet to have any kind of a problem with it.  And I also have a maytag washer too! And same thing.. NO problems with it.. and I bought them together!  So.. I love my new Maytag Dryer. I bought a matching set this year for the first time since I have been on my own in 10 years.  The dryer is awesome it gets it done the first time. 

I purchased the Maytag Legacy Series Dryer model number MED5770TQ0 from Home Depot in 2007 and have been unhappy with it for two years. While it is still working for the most part, I have had a repairman work on it seven different times. This model overheats easily and must sit about a foot from the wall which is very inconvenient. I'm always dropping things behind it and it takes forever to try and fish them our. The Sensor Dry control never seems to work properly. I'm just have to keep turning the dryer back on over and over. The filter in located on the top of the machine which makes a mess...

I have had my Maytag Dryer since my two boys were in grade school.  My oldest son is now 30 and I am still using the same Maytag dryer.  When it is time to replace it, it will be another Maytag Dryer.
