What I liked about this machine was the deep bottom level.  It is easy to fit larger pans on the one side.  It was touted as being an Energy Star model.

What I didn't like was that it takes a long time to cycle through and clean the load.  Maybe not so efficient and energy conscious.  For a quiet series, it was loud.  Worst of all, after the initial warranty was up, the door handle broke.  I had it repaired and a few years later it has broke again.  It has two small plastic parts holding it together inside.  The repair man told me he has repaired a lot of them.  They are now replacing them with metal for $130 plus labor, not to mention a service call charge.  My machine also has a broken top spayer arm that was never secured down.  The machine is 5 years old and I'm not sure it's worth fixing again.  The next machine won't be Maytag.  Unfortunately, this machine had great reviews when I researched it 5 years ago.

We have a Maytag Quiet series 300 and have had many recuring problems. The circuit boards are junk! Don't buy Maytag. Check out the many complaints on other review sites.
