it started great then it went grinding sometimes it wouldn't spin out only had it one and a half yrs. Cleaning Time it takes over a hour for it to cycle thru to long when you have others to wash Ease of Use it would take over a hour just to wash that really is to long when you have other loads also. Durability when out after 1 1/2 yrs. when it should last for a maytag at lest 10 to 15 yrs. when i paid a lot for it because it was a maytag.

Our Maytag Centennial Top Load Washer was purchased a several years ago to replace another Maytag washer which we really liked. We trusted the Maytag brand until we purchased this new washer. What a disappointment- Maytag is now made in China. The quality really reflects that. This Maytag washer is much  much noisier than our old washer-we had a serviceman out to check what was causing the noise and there was nothing wrong -he said they are all like that now. The controls also turn very crunchily-not smoothly. The lid does not tilt back all the way if you are filling it with water (with the knob pulled up to turn it on) . If have you have it open to add more clothes and the lid  will occasionally  come crashing down on your hands. Not a pleasant experience! I really feel the Maytag Quality has gone down on these top loading machines and I  would definitely  look into purchasing another brand in the future.
