This is an exceptional dryer, especially for the price. My clothes have never dried so fast ever before using this Maytag electric dryer. Noise Level: about the same as any standard front load dryer. Drying Speed: SUPER fast. Incredibly fast! As a matter of fact, the clothes dry so fast you are amazed every time. I almost never have to run the load the entire cycle, unless I have an exceptionally large jeans or towels load or really bulky items such as pillows. An appliance repairman told me to never purchase a Maytag, that they are crazy hard to repair and not that reliable, but honestly, this is the most reliable dryer I have ever owned. Drying Options: You can select dry temperature, end of cycle buzzer on or off, timed dry or more/less dry, and various fabric types. Unless you need a more modern looking machine with steam or extra drying features, you cannot go wrong with this machine. Works perfectly for my large family.

My husband and I purchased this dryer (along with the matching washing machine) a little over 4 years ago. We have been extremely pleased! It holds a large amount of laundry at a time and is fairly quiet- as quiet as it gets for a dryer. I like that it is easy to use as it does not have a ton of settings, options, knobs, etc. However, it does have enough settings to cover the areas needed. I also like that it has a knob which allows you to turn the buzzer (the loud sound informing you that the cycle is complete) on or off. My only con, which really is not that big of a deal, is that the lint filter is hard to clean. It is kind of an odd shape and is placed in the dryer at a weird angle. This may just be something that is a struggle for me due to the placement of my dryer. I have difficulty pulling the screen out as that side of the dryer is up against the wall. My favorite thing about this Maytag dryer is that it seems to dry loads of laundry very quickly! I love this about it! This is by far the fastest dryer I have ever used! I am very happy that we purchased this dryer and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

This product is energy efficient and easy to use. It has an automatic shut off when it senses that your clothes are dry. Also, it buzzes you when the dryer cycle has completed. Load Capacity It has a very wide door that can be hinged from either side. The dryer has a convenient light inside of the dryer. You can put an extra large load in this dryer and all of the clothes will be dry when the cycle has completed. Performance It has multiple settings for the desired level of dryness. It has a setting that senses when clothes are dry. So that you don't over dry your clothes. Ease of Use The knobs on the dryer are large and very easy to read. They are made of very sturdy material so they will not be falling off. Durability This is my second may tag dryer. The first one last over 27 years. This is an American made product of durable steel. Design The design is clean and blends in well with any home décor. I chose the white dryer. It has a solid high gloss finish that can take some rugged use.

I do not even own an iron, so I rely on my dryer to get my clothes free of wrinkles. I try to buy no-iron clothing for my husband's work attire, but I am concerned with the chemical content in these types of items. The Maytag Centennial 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer has two features that I absolutely love. First of all, the dryer door can be installed to open to either side. This is particularly beneficial with pairing it with a washer or moving to a new home when you don't know your spacial capacities or laundry room arrangement. My other favorite feature is the wrinkle setting. I am terrible about taking my clothes out of the dryer right away. This setting allows me to pop my clothing back in for a quick cycle to get all of the wrinkles out. Load Capacity Holds a huge load of clothing. Performance Works great Ease of Use So simple Durability Great so far Design Love that the door can open to either side depending on how your install it. The versatility is great!

I have had this dryer for a few years now, and it works great! This is the first Maytag dryer I have owned, and I like it the best out of all of the other brands I have had. It gets the laundry dried in a reasonable amount of time and has different dry time selections to choose from, based on what you are drying. It has a large capacity drum so I can put large loads of laundry in to dry. The only thing with the larger loads, is you may have to do a couple of cycles to get everything fully dried. Also, it is very quiet compared to other dryers I have had in the past. Sometimes I have to go and check to make sure I did turn it on, because it is so quiet. It is very easy to use, and we are very happy with our dryer. I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a really could dryer. Load Capacity It has a very large load capacity. The only thing about the larger loads of laundry is you may have to do a couple of cycles to get everything completely dried. Performance It works great! Ease of Use Very easy to use!

I love how big it is! I also love the options on it, like an on/off switch for the buzzer when the load is done, & the light inside. It has 2 settings, so I can choose what I need. Love how easy it was to change out the 4-prong plug with a 3-prong plug. Load Capacity Holds quite a bit - large loads of clothes & even larger blankets, which I really need with my king size comforters. Performance Works great! It gets everything dry the first time around, even my blankets. Ease of Use Once I figured out how to use it, it's pretty easy. Although, sometimes I still need to play with the buttons to make it turn on. Durability Seems to be doing well for the short time I've had it. Cats jumping all over it, & so far, no knobs have broken off. Inside is doing very well as well. Design Not as pretty as some, but it does what it needs to do. I love the design of the option to have a buzzer to let you know when load is done or not. Never saw that before. I also like the light inside the dryer! Makes it easier to find something when I only want to take 1 or 2 things out at the moment.

The Maytag Centennial Electric Dryer MEDC400V is a wonderful clothes dryer for someone who wants a great dryer and has a smaller budget. It drys clothes very fast depending on the size of the load of coarse. It does not have all the extra features like the expensive dryers but it does what it is supposed to do which is to dry clothes!!

Love my Maytag Centennial Electric Dryer. My clothes always come out dry and fluffy. There is a lot of room inside so the clothes don't get tangled with each other (which can lead to wet spots). The machine is so simple to use just pick the desired time and temperature and just press start. I hope my dryer never breaks because I can't live without this one. Load Capacity I wish my washer had the capacity my Maytag Centennial dryer does because it is huge. Plenty of room for your clothes to toss and turn inside. All my clothes always come out dry as a bone. Performance All my clothes come out completely dry. I never have any wet spots. Ease of Use Extremely easy to use. All the instructions are on the knobs so there is no confusion. Just turn the knob to the desired time and press another button (marked push to start) and the dryer turns on without fail. Durability I've had this dryer for about a year and it hasn't failed my once. I think it is durable. Design The Maytag Centennial is designed like every other dryer. White metal box. No clear window just solid. Made very sturdy. The knobs do not feel cheap or loose.

The only reasons I didn't rate this washer a ten is because I think the design could be a little more modern and it isn't as energy efficient as the newer models. But other than those two reasons, I absolutely love this dryer and hope it lasts for many more years to come. I love the energy preferred setting and the dryer isn't loud at all. I read so many reviews that said Maytag appliances last for years and now I'm experiencing it first hand. The clothes come out dryer and are less wrinkled than when I had my old washer. I wish they would just come up with a solution for the lint traps on dryers, then it would be amazing. Load Capacity It holds an x-large load of clothes and dries them with no problems. Performance I'm sure there are dryers out there that cost thousands that are better at performing, but I'm not rich and just need something that quickly and thoroughly dries my clothes, that's what this dryer does. Ease of Use Very simple to use, only a few settings to choose from.
