This dryer is wonderful for a first time dryer buyer. I bought this with a Maytag washing machine when I bought my first set. It is a great dryer and I had no issues with it the whole time I owned it. My mother now has it and she loves it as well. It did not cost too much and it fit nicely with the washing machine in my small home. The dryer fit a lot of clothes into it; I never had to worry about there not being enough room for a full load. Also, it was an energy saver so that really helped my electric bill. The design of this dryer was simple and I liked that it was really easy to use. It did not have a lot of unnecessary settings on it, which was perfect for me! If you are a first time dryer buyer, then this is the one I would recommend. It is a low cost and efficient dryer that you will not be disappointed with. Load Capacity This dryer is big enough for a large size load of clothes and it will definitely get all of them dry in one go.

Maytag Centennial Series 29 Electric Dryer with 7.0 cu. ft. Capacity MEDC300XW is a really nice dryer. It is basic which is exactly what I wanted. This dryer replaced my old dryer and I couldn't be happier with this because it is easy to operate and does a great job drying my clothes. It has energy saving modes on both the high dry and low dry settings so I always use the energy saving setting. I have it set to alert me when the load is dry but it actually keeps tumbling and buzzes a few more times so I can get the clothes out before it stops and they get wrinkled. It is a nice size dryer too and I have dried comforters in it with no problems. The door is nice and big too which makes it easy to see if I have gotten everything out and also makes it easy to put everything in it including comforters. The door is a little low but I can deal with that. There is also no light inside the drum.

The Maytag Centennial Series 29 Electric Dryer with 7.0 cu. ft. Capacity MEDC300XW is a good dryer. It dries my clothing fast. My clothes dry in approximately 28 minutes, maybe a little more. I like loading my clothes from the front. I want my clothes to toss properly, and I watch sometimes. I dry small and medium loads without any problems. Large loads can be a little problematic. When I dry blankets or long towels, they sometimes get tangled. I think this dryer does a good job of drying delicate items. The choices you have to dry your clothes at are numerous. When I take my clothing out of the dryer, they are in good condition. The design of this dryer is cute, and the color is pretty. I wish it looked more trendy though. I wouldn't call this dryer a quiet one. Sometimes I hear the dryer, when I dry shoes or jackets. The heat and load choices are great. I like the capacity of this dryer as well. Overall, this dryer is easy to operate. I stay away from complicated dryers. Removing lent from this dryer is simple too. This dryer isn't an energy-hog either. It is a fair price, and you will save money.

This dryer dries all my clothes (EVEN TOWELS!!) very quickly! The only problem is its a little loud when running, but I love how loud the buzzer is when its done. Load Capacity I was very surprised by how much I can fit in this dryer and it stills dries quickly!! Performance The only reason I did not give it a ten is because it is a little loud.

I always have to run my clothes twice through a drying cycle no matter what setting I use. I am putting in a normal large sized load of clothes washed with this dryer's companion washing machine, as well. Load Capacity The tumbler holds a great deal of clothes, but won't dry everything completely the first time. When my clothes don't get completely dry and I have to go to bed or leave before the dryer cycle is finished I end up with damp clothes full of wrinkles that even another cycle in the dryer will not take care of at this point. Performance Again, have to run dryer too long to get clothes dry. The dryer does not seem to get as hot as dryers I have had before. Maybe this Maytag dryer has some sort of safety feature that keeps the dryer from getting too hot and starting a fire. I am here to say that a little hotter would be much better. I clean my lint screen after every load, so air flow is not the problem. Design The dials are self explanatory and easily set. Lint screen is easy to clean and traps a lot of lint.

My husband and I have owned this dryer for about five years and it has been wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about it. It has held up well with absolutely no problems. It has multiple options for heat and how you want to dry your clothing. It has a signal you can turn off and on. It always gets our clothes done in a timely manner. It has been a great dryer for us and I highly recommend using it. Load Capacity It holds all the clothes we need it to hold. It is not huge but I like that. It fits really well in our apartment and holds all the clothes we need it to hold. It always gets them all dry as well. Performance We have never had clothes come out not dry. The only thing that we have shrunk in it was our own fault. It performs great every time we use it. Ease of Use Throw the clothes in and choose your cycle. There are a lot of different options so you can choose which one works best for you. Durability We are going on year five with this and have had no problems with it at all! Design Classy and the right size for our apartment!

When I moved into my new place it came with a washer and dryer. After a couple months of use it died on me. After some research I decided on buying the Maytag Centennial Series 29 Electric Dryer. This dryer has a modern look, but it has a old school feel. The manual is straight forward, but it's not even necessary to read. This dryer is very simple to operate. Installation is a breeze and takes only a couple of minutes to get it up and running. This dryer dries clothes in a very timely fashion. The dryer has a push start button and to stop it you must open the dryer or turn the dial to the off position. The timer goes up to 70 minutes and the heat slowly lowers as it reaches the end of the drying cycle. I can dry a load of clothes in about 25-30 minutes, but if you put to much in at once it will take longer. The lent trap is on top and is very easy to remove by sliding it back toward the front of the dryer. I would definitely recommend the Maytag Centennial Series 29 Electric Dryer.
