Maytag Bravos Washing Machine Reviews

Purchased this because it was a Maytag.  They always bragged about how their servicemen were so lonely and bored.  Well, a word of warning!  They are no longer bored.  Why do these companies who have built a terrific reputation blow it to save a few bucks.  I purchased a Maytag Bravos and within 1 year we had to replace the pump, 1 month after warranty expired!  I think they actually make these things to break down after the 1 year mark.  Anyhow, think twice about the brand you choose.  You can't depend on the ones that are well known.  Check reviews on the internet.  We will never be...

I'm so disappointed!  Spent the extra money and banked on the "Maytag reputation".  Machine doesn't get the clothes clean, and now, after a little over a year, is sitting BROKEN in the laundry room awaiting a repairman (which will cost a small fortune, apparently).  This will probably be the last Maytag I ever purchase.  Too bad.
