We bought this dryer to upgrade from a dryer that was older and worn out. The difference is like night and day. This dryer does a great job of drying clothes, and the adjustable settings are easy to figure out through the use of the manual (it definitely helps to read the manual first, and we would have missed a couple important points if we had skipped the manual). It would be nice if they included the power cord instead of making you buy it separately, but the cord itself was pretty easy to attach. One area of improvement would be making the space to attach the cord a little bigger so that you have more room to maneuver the wires. But the wiring instructions were very clear (for both a three-prong and a four-prong plug). A very helpful feature is placing the lint filter on the top of the washer. It is easy to pull out and clean without needing to bend down to get it out of the door (like in older styles of dryers). It seems like a well-built dryer, and it came with a 10 year warranty on the motor and drum. Overall, the dryer has exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it.

This is my first gas dryer. I have been very impressed with the cost of drying my clothes. Clothes drying seems to take much less time. Load Capacity I have no problems getting a large load of laundry in this dryer. It seems to dry them very well also. Performance I am very impressed with this machine. It usually takes about thirty minutes to dry a large load of laundry. I like the fact that it has multiple settings. Ease of Use This dryer is very easy to use. The settings are easy to set. The only thing I wish were different was that you could change the settings once the dryer has started. Durability The dryer seems very durable. I have only had the dryer for three years, but I have a family of five and we do laundry at least twice a week. A lot of laundry has gone through the dryer and there does not seem to be any malfunctions. Design For the most part, I like the design. I would change two things about the design. The first thing I would change is the volume of the signal. It can barely be heard at the loudest setting. The other thing I would change is the rounded top. I prefer a flat top, so folded clothes may be placed on top.

I have a large family and this dryer allows me to dry large loads. It has been very efficient. I have never had to run a load a second time because the clothes are still wet. Isnt terribly loud and runs smoothly. Great dryer. Load Capacity This dryer can easily and thoroughly dry a large load. Performance Even the largest loads are completely dry when the load is finished. Very nice to be able to count on your laundry to be finished as you expected. Ease of Use The buttons on the washer are pretty self explanatory. I didnt have to look at the manual to figure out how to use it. It is automatically set to a default dry mode and time, so it is as simple as pushing a button to start it most of the time. Durability I have had this dryer for about about a year and it still runs and looks like new. No trouble with it at all Design The design is somewhat modern looking and simplistic at the same time. It is taller than it is wide. It was designed well.

We have always had a Maytag so it made pefect sense to stick with the tried and true.We have the grown kids out alot and with showers and the pool this works great for big loads of towels,and sheets.We just Love It.I like to use sensor dry so can save extra energy.As a result we have found our electric bill has gone down since we bought this maytag. Load Capacity Has a large load capacity great for families.Instaed of doing a couple of loads you can fit it all in one and the clothes still get nice and clean.So saves water also. Performance This dryer is very efficient,quiet,and energy efficient. Ease of Use Very simple to use.With either using the sensor you can leave on when you go somewhere and when the clothes are dry it shuts off.This is a nice feature since I have a tendency with the timer way to long. Durability Very quiet and durable.lots of functions for every lifestyle. Design The design is good.Somewhat more appealing than traditional dryers.

I got this dryer as a replacement for an older Maytag dryer and was afraid the quality would not be as good. So far, I'm happy with it. Load Capacity This load size is fine to "match" my current washer. However, if I upgrade to a front load washer eventually, it might not be big enough. Performance Dries well. Ease of Use It is kind of confusing that the temperature setting changes back after each load. It is also easy to forget to change it back if you had it set on another "dry" than normal. However, you get used to it and it becomes somewhat natural after owning it a while. Durability I only bought this a few years ago, so it is too early to say, but, so far we have had no problems. Design I think the above noted things on setting temperature and amount of dryness would be great improvements in the design of this dryer. I also hate that it "rings" every time you open the door. I have the buzzer turned off because it bugs me. However, as long as it continues to remain repair free, I'm satisfied.

I purchased this with the matching washer. It was one of the best investments I have made. Easy to use. The sensor setting automatically shuts the dryer off when the clothes are dry. It does also have a timed setting, but I use the sensor the most to save energy. It also has wrinkle control, so it makes your clothes look even better without ironing a thing. It doesnt take very long to dry the clothes so it saves on energy & time. Load Capacity It will hold a lot of clothes and still take very little time to dry them. Performance Fast & energy saving. Ease of Use Very easy to use control panel. Several variations to customize every load. Durability I have had this dryer for over 2 years & still no issues. Design It is easy to move to clean behind. Sleek & nice to look at. Doesnt look like a normal borning dryer.
