This Maytag dishwasher is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned in my life! I bought it after my old Frigidaire dishwasher broke, and this one did not even last the summer. It was so loud that I could never run it at night because I would not be able to sleep. Most of my dishes came out dirty every time. I might as well have washed them by hand the first time because that was what I always ended up doing. It was not worth the money I paid for it because less than three months later I had to turn around and buy yet another dishwasher. I do not think that I will ever buy another Maytag product. Noise Level This dishwasher is so loud I could never run it at night because it would keep me awake. Cleaning Time The dishwasher took hours to wash the dishes and when it finally got done, nothing was clean. Performance I ended up having to wash all my dishes by hand after waiting hours for this dishwasher to get done. Durability My Maytag dishwasher did not even last for a whole summer.

This is the dishwasher that has been provided for us while we live in our apartment. I would like to say that I love it, but I don't. The dishwasher is just a basic dishwasher, nothing fancy or special. It is easy to use and understand, a pretty simple standard piece of equipment. It is kind of loud to me, I can hear it even if I am upstairs and run it after dinner, this is somewhat annoying when everyone wants to sleep but also we want to have clean dishes in the morning. The dishwasher cleans alright, I have tried many different detergents in it to get it to clean better, but it always still leaves spots and does not seem to have enough pressure to get off even little things at times, so I have to make sure that all my dishes are completely cleaned of anything before I put it in there or it will not clean it. The dishwasher has gotten clogged twice when my children have done dishes, and there was not much there to clog it with, so that has been somewhat disappointing. It works well for the small amount of space that we have and it is better than no dishwasher at all, but it is not the one that I will buy when we purchase our own home though.

I have a maytag dishwasher that I purchase less than 4 year ago (still new in the life span of a dishwasher). Well, I've had problem after problem with it. When I purchased it, I remember seeing the commerical with Maytag Repair Man being so bored because the products were so well made that they never had work to do. Not the case here! Noise Level Very loud machine. Thank god it has a delayed start feature that can be set to start up to 6 hours after you turn it on. I set it to start after bedtime each night because otherwise it's so loud I can't hear the TV in the living room over the noise of the dishwasher. Loading Flexibility Seems like they should have dsigned it a little roomier. There is room for large pots but they only fit in one spot. Performance It broke for the second time just recently. The latch broke when I tried to open the dishwasher door. It got stuck in the open position. I had to have it repaired.
