Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor Review Summary
Our beauty divas agree that Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor stays on for a long time. Most love it. But some feel that the color is cakey and dries out their lips. Some others are turned off by the two step process. Superstay Lipcolor is a lip color on one end and a clear sealant and shining gloss on the other. Apply the color, wait a few minutes, then apply the gloss for shine. The color truly does stay on all day, say our reviewers. They can eat, drink and be merry and still have perfectly colored lips through it all. As a busy working mom - and someone who just doesn't take a lot of time for make up Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor is an excellent choice for long wearing, stay on my lips, glossy lip color that I don't have to apply over and over again.

I have been watching for this type of long lasting lip color- I noticed that many of the other brands that produce this type of lip color focus more on lip glosses (applied with a brush or sponge wand). I don't particularly care for lip gloss. Superstay lipcolor instead has a top coat that is more like a clear lip balm that applies easily and smoothly, and feels good on my lips. This product is easy to use and the color does last for several hours. Just make sure you let the color dry on your lips before you apply the balm.
I have always used chapstick or lip gloss only, but decided I needed more color now that I am getting older. I'm 30. I hate lipstick with a passion, but this product looks like lipstick without the mess and fading. You use the color wand to stain your lips and then the moisterizer stick after which is awsome in itself. The color last almost all day even after eating, etc. It also doesn't come off on clothes or other people. LOVE this product and so glad I tried it!
It stays on four hours unlike most expensive brands.

You will find Cover Girls product of long lasting lips stick will not cake on and flake like this one does if you have to reapply it. Plus Cover Girls stay on lip cover to offer a better selection then Maybelline stay on lip cover. My lips feel too dry using this Maybelline super stay lip color product. I have tried to mix the colors to match to my clothes and I found it to be a little bit of a problem since the stay on lip stick caked and pealed off.
