I have doubted all red lipsticks because nothing seemed to look right. Not only has this shade matched my skin tone but the application to create a long lasting stay is easy. Apply lip stain and allow to dry before applying lip balm. The color last longer than expected. Need to reapply lipbalm to fix dryness

I absolutely love this product, it really does stay on for 24 hours, I have tried many different shades. I've worn this lip color from the time I go to work at 6am until I go out and have a few drinks with friends and I don't have to apply it. It doesn't rub off and it is actually really hard to get off so make sure you got the right color for you. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves lip color that stays on all day, and a plus for myself is that it smells good!

This lip product is everything it advertises. It seriously stays for 24 hours. Be aware that you have to apply the lip gloss first, and that it has to dry before you smack your lips together. Once your lips are dry, add the balm. I used the All Day Cherry, and the color is vibrant without being showy. You will need to reapply the balm periodically so your lips don't dry along with the pigment which can cause your lips to flake a bit. This only happens after 5 or more hours. The product has little to no fragrance and glides on smoothly without trouble. I would recommend this for a night out, a long work day, or anything which required long lasting wear. When they say 24 hours, they mean it. If you need to get it off before the 24 hours is up, invest in a good lip scrub to get the remaining pigment off of your lips. This product is insanely long lasting, a must buy for anyone who wants lip color that seriously stays.

I have tried a huge number of different lip products (mostly stains and lipstick), and the one thing that I have noticed is that such a large number of them never stay for a long time. They tend to wear off very quickly, and it gets extremely frustrating. With this, you put the color on first and then the topcoat. This stays ALL day, no smearing, even when I have been eating.

I love red lipstick! It's so classic and sophisticated while managing to stay young and fun. That said, it really is HARD to wear. I'm a face toucher, so 30 minutes after I apply I have people asking what that red spot is on my nose... my forehead... the back of my leg. I get the stuff everywhere. Before I ever put Mabeline's Superstay 24 lipcolor on my lips I swatched it on my hand... waited the 2 minutes, and then tried gingerly to smudge it. Didn't even budge. So I tried harder. Nothing. In fact, the next day, after countless hand washings, 8 hours rubbing against my sheets, and constant admiring gazes it still had not moved. I finally removed it with an oil based makeup remover like the directions said and VOILA! I had to buy it... in lots of colors. I am just as impressed with its performance on my lips as on the back of my hand. It's a "must have" lipstick, and for those of you who love a bold lip it's a "can't live without"

The colors are great, I bought 2, I liked the applicator. However, I usually wear Revlon which I put on at 6 AM and take off at 10PM. I was excited to see a 24 hour lipstick, but it had pretty much worn off by noon. I recommend Revlon colorstay - it really does last.

If you are looking for true lipcolor that does last longer than the usual ones...look no further. I recently got to try the Maybelline 24hr 2step lip color being a bzzagent i got a sample thru their campaign. I have to say it really does last. The colors are really vibrant and your lips look so luscious. The application is really easy...step1 base coat+step2 moisturizing top coat balm and the best part is it doesn't crumble or cake on. The applicator is flexible and picks up the product well. They have 30 vibrant shades to choose from. I think i just found myself a great long lasting lipcolor.

This lip color is applied in 2 steps; the actual lip color is applied first, then you wait about 2 minutes, and apply the moisterizing top coat. The color feels kind of tight and uncomfortable while it is drying, but once the top coat of balm is applied, that feeling went away. The color lasted all day, even through eating and drinking. The top coat does wear off though, so you do have to reapply the balm. I have found though that any kind of clear lip balm works, you don't have to use the one that comes with the product. I don't carry my lip color with me when I go out, because it tends to get lost in my purse, so I just use whatever lip balm I have with me when the lip color starts to feel dry. The shade I tried is Perpetual Plum. I really like that shade. I am very pale, and this color was like my natural lip color but just slightly darker.

I tried Maybelline SuperStay 24(TM) 2-Step Lipcolor which I received as Buzz sample as a BuzzAgent. I normally stick to more sheer colors lip tints and glosses. The first time I tried this lip color it came out thicker than I expected and my lips were so starkly red pigmented I felt a little like a clown. I prefer more natural looking color. Then I tried a more rosy brown color and used a very light hand. I think that was a much better look for me. I put it on in the morning, and it was not 24 hour wear. I don't know when it was gone exactly (I didn't keep checking the mirror) but by dinner there was only a very slight tint of color left on my lips. I think I could tell I put something on my lips in the morning but it slowly disappeared. The lip color will dry out your lips, requiring you to add the glossy top coat. The top coat does work really well, it is rich and emollient. I don't think this is a very novel concept. It reminds me of some by covergirl (which I haven't used in years). Overall I wouldn't recommend this product, it is just okay. I liked the colors I had once I put a thinner coat of the color on and it does last longer than a normal lip stick and didn't transfer the color just faded after a few hours.

I am a BuzzAgent and received a sample for this lipcolor. I have to begin by saying, "Wow"! I have been a very loyal fan of Covergirl Outlast Lipcolor for years. However, when I tried this lipcolor, I immediately realized that I now have a new favorite. The neat thing about this 2-step system is that both the lipcolor itself and a topcoat are at opposite ends of the same tube. With other long lasting lip colors *such as my 'use to be' favorite, they are in separate tubes which is a bit of a hassle. The color goes on very easliy and evenly. The applicator is angled just slightly so it really allows you to cover your lips and create a perfect look. The topcoat is great; you can apply it during the day just like a chapstick. There is a huge array of colors to choose from. I think Maybelline has done a great job at covering the color spectrum to include colors that suit everyone. And boy does this lipcolor last. I would suggest using a makeup remover to take it off because otherwise it will stay on. But hey, I like that!
