NOT UP TO MAYBELLINE'S STANDARDS
into trying new things, low maintenance, a person who enjoys quality, wearing makeup daily, willing to pay for quality, pale as a ghost, always trying new beauty products, on a budget

This makeup is NOT HYPOALLERGENIC despite it's claims everybody I know that has tried it has had a problem with breaking out! When Maybelline stopped manufacturing their line of shine free products it was a BIG MISTAKE, This product(PURE) is a very poor replacement for shine free.1) It is cakey.2) It cause's Break Outs in most people.3)Does not blend as well.4)Nor does it have the coverage of the Shine Free line. I am somebody that is very, very fair skinned with freckles, and sensitive skin that has a tendency to make foundation turn Orange on my skin, so wearing PURE makeup was a nightmare… read full review »

Covers well and I don't even feel like I'm wearing make-up.

I really like this product. It's very light so I don't feel like I'm wearing a lot of make-up. It's also very natural looking so I don't even look like I'm wearing make-up. I have very sensitive skin so I have to be very careful in what I wear or I will break out very easily. I have not broken out with this product at all. And the best thing about this product is that it doesn't cost a lot. The only thing about this product I didn't like is that it doesn't cover my dark circles under my eyes and for a mom you need that coverage but I just wear a concealer under the make-up and it works very… read full review »

I'm not into wearing a lot of makeup, especially heavy foundation.  So I tried this product because of it's claims about water content, and I love it!  I wear it everyday.  It's light and blends well and it doesn't look like you're wearing a lot of make up.  There are times when I think I need heavier coverage, and then use a different product - but for everyday use, this foundation is great.  Also blends well with moisturizer if you're looking for lighter… read full review »

Maybelline Pure Makeup Shine-Free Foundation is the best light coverage foundation I have ever used! I am impressed how smoothly and evenly it goes on, and all without added oil that foundations usually contain. It has a great softness to it without any caking or heavy build up. This foundation is best for clear and healthy skin. I would not recommend it for anyone with oily or blemished skin that needs a little or a lot more help. I am a photographer so I constantly have lenses and other things touching my face. I have to carry a rag around to clean things off after using them, but not anymore.
