Maybelline Pure Makeup Shine-Free Foundation with H20 —
Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!! Maybelline Pure Makeup Shine-Free Foundation with H20 is fabulous! I have cosmogenic acne, which is a fancy way of saying most foundations and makeup products cause break outs. I had tried everything--oil free foundation, mineral powders--and they all caused breakouts to some degree. I picked Maybelline Pure Makeup Shine-Free Foundation with H20 on a whim because the price tag was $5.00 and I had a 50% Maybeline coupon. I have never been so pleasantly surprised. No breakouts in the month that I have used it on a daily basis.The formula is light, non-greasy, but still provides natural coverage. The coverage is buildable, so you can use more in problem spots (like under the eyes) and still have one uniform finish all over your face. I'm mixed race (skin-tone something like Salma Hayek), with lots of yellow undertones, so most drugstore foundations are to pinkish for me. Although it's not a perfect match like Prescriptives "yellow-orange" tones, it comes pretty close--and at 1/4 the price, it is sooooo worth it. The color I use is medium honey beige.
You can apply this with your fingers or a brush, and it looks like you're wearing no makeup at all. You can layer the coverage for a more "finished" look. However, wearing the light coverage leaves you naturally glowing: I now skip concealer, eye shadow, blush, bronzer, and all the other extras I used to apply everyday before leaving the house. Now I just use mascara and lipgloss or lipstick and leave the house looking radiant--Try It!!!!
